Premium leather coin case from Digimon art items commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Digimon series!

Pre-orders for the official Digital Monster 20th Premium Leather Coin Case have begun on Bandai Fashion Net, Bandai's official online shopping site.

Ltd.'s mail order site "Bandai Fashion Net", commemorating the 20th anniversary of the "Digital Monster" series, has started to sell commemorative medals and genuine leather coin cases with illustrations of Tyrannomon and Metalgreymon, designed by Kenji Watanabe, " Digital Monster 20thPremium Leather Coin Case " (12,960 yen including tax, shipping and handling charges not included).

The "Digital Monster 20th Premium Leather Coin Case" is a "premium art series" of Digimon created with "Made in Japan" technology to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Digital Monster series in 2017. The product illustrations are based on the Digimon series.

The product illustrations are original drawings by Kenji Watanabe, the original character designer of the Digimon series.

The new products are a commemorative medal and genuine leather coin case featuring Tyrannomon and Metalgreymon, originally drawn by Mr. Watanabe, a Digimon series character designer, and carefully handcrafted by Japanese engraving craftsmen into a medal as a dynamic, semi-3-dimensional design.

The commemorative medal is engraved with Tyrannomon in a menacing pose with its left arm outstretched and spitting flames, and the powerful Metalgreymon with its mouth wide open and wings spread.

The back of the medal is also engraved with a memorial logo design commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Digimon series.
The medal is larger than a 500-yen coin, with a diameter of 38mm, to express the detailed illustration in detail. The combination of gold and silver colors gives the medal a luxurious feel that is typical of the 20th anniversary of the series.

The coin case is also a luxury leather coin case made of Tochigi leather cowhide, with a focus on Japanese craftsmanship.

This made-in-Japan masterpiece is individually sewn by craftsmen in popular black leather and leather dyed in deep brown/gray, inspired by the first generation Digital Monster colors.

An original plate inspired by the brick-like design of the first generation Digital Monster was made and embossed by Japanese craftsmen to create a distinctly uneven surface.
The combination of high quality Japanese leather and the brick-like texture makes this a product that the more one uses it, the more one can enjoy the texture of the leather.

In addition, all purchasers of this series will receive a miniature color paper with an original illustration as a bonus.

The series is scheduled to run for four consecutive months (four in all), so be sure to check back for more information in the future.
