ALI PROJECT will release its best album "Ai to Makoto - YAMATO & LOVE xxxx" on September 27 to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

ALI PROJECT is a unit composed of Arika Takarano (lyrics and vocals) and Mikiya Katakura (music composition and arrangement). Characterized by their literary lyrics, creative melodies and arrangements, and cutting-edge visuals, they have sung many theme songs for hit anime such as "Code Geass" and "Rozen Maiden.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of his career, he has decided to release a best-of album titled "Ai to Makoto" (Love and Sincerity)!

[CD1] YAMATO contains a collection of ALI PROJECT's most popular "Yamato Songs. The album includes "Ai to Makoto", a representative song of the Japanese spirit, "Eternal Martial Law", "War and Peace", and the supremely beautiful "Ode to the Requiem", all set to a brave and powerful tune. It also includes a new song!
In contrast, [CD2] LOVE x x x mainly contains songs about love, such as the beautiful and passionate "Butterfly Dreams in the Heart" and the popular song from the early days, "Kyougetsu Tei de Aimasho". This is a disc where one can enjoy Ms. Hono's gentle and beautifully resonant voice and the sweet world of her lyrics.

This is a best selection of songs that every Japanese should hear at least once since they were born in Japan, and it is a perfect selection for the anniversary year. The jacket and music clip were shot at the Jingoin Monzeki temple of the head temple in Kyoto.
Expectations are high for the rare footage of the song "Ai to Makoto," which is especially popular at live performances, blossoming at the 900-year-old Shogoin Temple!
