Wonder Woman" is a worldwide hit, surpassing "Spider-Man" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" to become the No. 1 movie in the "Most Anticipated Summer blockbusters of 2017" ranking.
In the U.S., Patty Jenkins made Hollywood history by becoming the highest grossing female director of all time. The voice actors for the Japanese dubbed version of this film have been determined.

Yuko Kaita, who has dubbed for Anne Hathaway, Scarlett Johansson, and others in Western films, will portray the adult Wonder Woman, and Daisuke Ono will voice Steve, the pilot who crash-lands on an island and changes Wonder Woman's destiny. Veteran voice actress Yoshiko Sakakibara will play Hippolyta, the queen of the Amazon tribe and Wonder Woman's mother, and Rika Fukami will play Hippolyta's sister, the powerful general Antiope.

Diana is a curious "princess" who grew up on a women-only island. Raised by her mother Hippolyta, Diana wants to be as strong as her mother and the general, but her overprotective mother will not even allow her to train for battle. However, she yearns for the sword, which is said to be possessed only by the strongest members of the family, and she hides out with General Antiope to train for battle.
While enduring rigorous training on the island, Diana realizes her hidden abilities. She becomes Wonder Woman, the strongest and most beautiful warrior woman, but her destiny is turned upside down when she meets Steve, a pilot who crash-lands on the island. Knowing that she will never see her mother again, she leaves the island of her birth and heads for London to save the world.

Wonder Woman's childhood is played by Ms. Arai, who is attracting attention as a "child prodigy" after appearing as Otowa, the young daughter of the main character Naotora, in the historical drama "Onnajoshu Naotora. Ms. Arai, who is challenging voice acting for the first time, said, "It was fresh and fun to act only with my voice, which is different from my usual acting. Diana's mother said that she shouldn't even practice fighting, but she wanted to become stronger, so the scene where she secretly practices was really cute.

Yuko Kaita voices Diana after she grows up and becomes Wonder Woman, the strongest and most beautiful warrior woman in the world. Ms. Ono will also play Steve, the pilot who crash-landed on the island.

Ms. Ono says, "Do you like strong and beautiful older women? I love them. Wonder Woman is a superhero with overwhelming power, good looks, and a pure heart. I am truly honored to play her partner Steve. I'm sure you will love Diana when you see the movie! said Kaita.

Ms. Kaita said about Wonder Woman , "Wonder Woman is a warrior and a woman. The beautiful Gal Gadot has made everyone's dream come true. I concentrated more than usual on her facial expressions, voice, and breathing to express her strong and straightforward feelings in Japanese. I hope you will pay attention to the two sides of her, the part where she is a little naive and the part where she is beautiful and strong. The action scenes are a must-see. I was thrilled to feel stronger as I dubbed the scene. I was also thrilled to feel stronger as I dubbed the movie.

Chris Pine, who speaks in Mr. Ono's voice, will make all the women in the world jealous of Diana," he praised Mr. Ono's performance as Steve. The interaction between Wonder Woman, the strongest and most beautiful warrior woman, and Steve, the handsome pilot, will also be interesting to watch.

Ms. Sakakibara, who plays Wonder Woman's mother, Hippolyta, is a veteran voice actress famous for her portrayal of the cold-hearted Princess Kushana in "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. While Kushana is a bloodless general who invades Nausicaa's Valley of the Wind and burns down the Sea of Decay with her Giant God Soldiers, the role of Hippolyta in this film is the complete opposite. She is the queen of the Amazon tribe, a noble and loving leader who puts the island first. Unlike Kushana, Hippolyta tries to protect her daughter with her love, but she knows that it is her daughter's destiny to sail out into the rough sea and that it is her mother's mission to quietly see her off. She stands still, suppressing her overflowing emotions. Hippolyta is a "mother" in her own right, suppressing her overflowing emotions," he said.

Anti-Opée, the strongest general in the series, is played by Fukami, who played Sailor Venus in the "Sailor Moon" series that aired from 1992 to 1997. Ms. Fukami, who plays the role of Antiope with her beautiful and powerful voice , says, "Antiope is the only one who understands Diana in her childhood. She knows that Diana has exceptional power, so she secretly trains her behind her sister's back in order to raise her to be the strongest and most beautiful warrior," said Fukami, who plays the role of Sailor Venus in the "Sailor Venus" series.

The Japanese dubbed version of the film, which features a cast of gorgeous veteran voice actors, is sure to draw much attention.
