Second Godzilla appears in Shinjuku! Kana Hanazawa and the anime movie "GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters" - a miraculous shot of the two!

The collaboration with "Shinjuku Creators Festa 2017," which will be held from August 1 to October 9, has been realized.
Shinjuku Creators Festa 2017" is a project that aims to create new vitality and liveliness in Shinjuku by enhancing the city's image and attractiveness through art. By utilizing public spaces and facilities around Shinjuku Station, as well as private facilities, and holding various art events, the project provides opportunities for city residents and visitors to experience culture and art.

As one of the "Art in the City" events of Shinjuku Creators Festa 2017, the main visual of this work will appear as a giant artwork in the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building!　In 2015, Godzilla was appointed by Shinjuku City as the "Shinjuku Tourism Special Envoy. Following Godzilla Head on the Shinjuku Toho Building, which is the face of Shinjuku's Kabukicho district, a second Godzilla has appeared in Shinjuku. The impact and fun of Godzilla's sudden appearance in an office district can truly be said to be the best part of public art.

To commemorate this collaboration, Kana Hanazawa, voice actress for the film's heroine, Yuko Tani, also attended the event!
She said, "There was a bakery that I loved, so I used to come here often. Hanazawa-san, who spoke of her memories of Shinjuku, witnessed Godzilla towering over the walls of the Sumitomo Building in Shinjuku, and commented as follows: "It's so powerful!
