aiseki MOGOL GIRL" expresses a warmer worldview through "stop motion" animation of simple but adorable characters created using the "braid art" technique.
The characters created by "mall art" engage in surrealistic talk at an "Aiseki-Cafe," creating a pleasant gap between "warmth" and "surrealism," creating a new sense of frame-by-frame animation. Planning and original concept by Kenji Akazawa,production by Strawberry Meets Pictures.

A production announcement was made on the stage of "Sendai Anime Fest" held in Miyagi Prefecture on August 5 (Sat.) and 6 (Sun.), with Ako Kato, who plays the main character, Fuyumi, and Natsuko Hara, who plays Haruko, on stage. The following are their comments.

Ryo Kato
The recording of the lines started first using the "prescoring" method. It has a very "live" feel to it. I have heard of the "time-lapse animation" method used in other productions, and it is a very elaborate work. This is my first starring role in an animated series, so I'm just trying my best!

Natsuko Hara
The characters are so cute, and it's so exciting to see them move around. I'm really looking forward to the future development of the surrealistic setting of the senior/junior office workers with Ryo Kato, the scenario, and the tone of the dialogues!

Fuyumi (CV: Ryo Kato)
He is over 30 years old, but is a regular at Aiseki-Cafe, and is the type of guy who talks out of his ass. He has had his fair share of romantic encounters, but he is restless.

Haruko (CV: Hara Natsuko)
Haruko is Fumi's junior. She loves Fumi and shows up at Aiseki-Cafe. She shows up at Aiseki-Café in adoration of Fuyumi. She often spits out sharp and sharp-tongued venom at just the right moment.
