Valkyrie and "Macross Δ (Delta)" don't stop! Macross Delta" theater version will finally be produced!

The decision to produce a movie version of the TV anime "Macross Delta" has been announced.

Macross Delta" is the latest work of the "Macross" series centering on transformable robots, songs, and love triangles, and is a TV anime that has been broadcast since April 2016. Set eight years after the previous work "Macross F" on a remote planet, it depicts joint operations and love affairs between the five aerial knights of the "Kingdom of Wind" and the five divas of the tactical music unit "Valkyrie. General director is Shoji Kawamori, director is Kenji Yasuda, series composition and screenplay are by Toshizo Nemoto, character design is by Chisato Jitsuda (CAPCOM), character design is by Majiro and Yu Shindo, and animation production is by Satellite.

ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2017 is being held at the National Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, on August 5 (Sat.), 6 (Sun.), 11 (Fri.), and 12 (Sat.), 2017, and at the "BUZZSTAGE" held on Sunday, August 6, the tactical music unit Valkyrie", a tactical music unit, appeared on the "BUZZSTAGE" on Sunday, June 6. Although it was their first appearance, they enlivened the audience with their passionate stage performance.

It was announced that the TV anime "Macross Delta," in which the Valkyries play an active role, will be produced as a movie version.

Details of the content and release date have yet to be determined, but one cannot take one's eyes off "Macross Delta" and Valkyrie, the latest in the "Macross Series," which is celebrating its 35th anniversary!
