TV anime "Osomatsu-san" 2nd season ending theme decided! A dream collaboration with 27 gorgeous artists will make you "all excited!

The ending theme for the second season of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san" is "ROOTS66 Party with Matsuno Family 6 Brothers" sung by "Let's Go! Mutsugo! ～6 colored rainbow" sung by "ROOTS66 Party with the Matsuno family 6 brothers" will be used as the ending theme for the second season of "Osomatsu-san".

Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth.
Based on Fujio Akatsuka's explosive hit gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. Even now, a year after its airing, the series continues to be developed into a wide variety of products, collaborations with convenience stores, JRA, and other major collaborations, and even game applications and stage performances. On August 6, it was announced that the project unit A-O-P would be performing the opening theme for the second season, following the first season.

This time, "ROOTS66", a dream collaboration of 27 artists born in 1966, the year the TV anime "Osomatsu-kun" started airing, has come to fruition. This collaboration was realized.

In 2006, FM802 hosted "ROOTS66-DON'T TRUST OVER 40-", a live performance by male musicians who were approaching the age of 40. In 2016, twice as many members, including female artists, gathered for "ROOTS66-Naughty 50-" produced by FM COCOLO and held at Osaka-jo Hall and other venues. Born in the year of the Beatles' one and only visit to Japan, they also performed at the Nippon Budokan, the venue of that historic concert. The band has performed their own representative songs and cover numbers, but this is the first time they have written their own original music.

The music is based on the theme of the six children, who are still scruffy and neat as ever, with lyrics by Kenji Otsuki (Muscle Shoujo Band, Tokusatsu), Naozumi Masuko (Angry Hair Heaven), and Atsushi Yanaka (Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra), and music by Takao Tajima (ORIGINAL LOVE), Shinya Okuno (SOUL FLOWER The music was composed by Takao Tajima (ORIGINAL LOVE), Shinya Okuno (SOUL FLOWER UNION), and Tortoise Matsumoto (Wolfles), creating a soulful rock sound that makes you want to sing along in front of the TV.

Tortoise Matsumoto said, "I was in a state of total excitement!　I was really happy to be able to collaborate with "Osomatsu-san," which I myself had been watching." Kenji Otsuki, who wrote the lyrics, said, "Writing a song with a large group of people was a lot of fun and a lot of fuss. We made a very good song, so please sing it with everyone! It seems that the six Matsuno siblings had a lot of fun while creating the song.

The Matsuno family's six children (CV: Takahiro Sakurai, Yuichi Nakamura, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono, and Miyu Irino) also participate in the song by singing along, making it a song that both children and adults can enjoy together.

The song is a fun ending theme song for "Osomatsu-san," presented by a group of gorgeous artists born in 1966 who are going their own way with their unparalleled individuality, and the six bum NEET children who have grown up to be just as unique as the rest of us.
