Kimi no na wa. is the latest work by Makoto Shinkai, the director of "5 Centimeters per Second" and "The Garden of Words," whose beautiful animation and delicate stories have gained worldwide support. The film features a high school girl from the countryside who yearns for the city and a high school boy from the city, and depicts their love and a miracle when they switch places in a dream. The original story, director, and screenplay are by Makoto Shinkai, the animation director is Masashi Ando, who has participated in many Studio Ghibli films including "Spirited Away," the character design is by Masaga Tanaka of "My Heart is Screaming. The music is by RADWIMPS and the production is by Comics Wave Film.
