DADA SHITETSU" is an anime work based on Kotoyama's manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday. The comedy centers on the heir to a candy shop and the daughter of a confectionary maker who is a candy fanatic. In the original manga, the names of candy bars that everyone knows, such as "Umaibo," "Young Donut," and "Butamen," appear in real life. The manga gained popularity by introducing fun ways to eat them and recipes to add a little something extra.

Synopsis
KANADA Kokonotsu does not want to take over his family's candy shop, and a mysterious beautiful girl, Hotaru, is a candy fanatic.
Hotaru often visits the store to make Kokonotsu take over the candy shop.
Although it is not clear whether Coconotsu, who spends time with Hotaru, is on his way to becoming a candy store manager, he and his friends, Endo Mame and Endo Saya, continue to enjoy their summer vacation!
