All episodes of "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" will be distributed on AbemaTV!　Campaign to win a trip to Shirakawa-go!

Let's cool down during the hot summer vacation!　So, starting August 12, AbemaTV will broadcast all episodes of the "Higurashi When They Cry" series, a milestone in horror anime.

The "Higurashi When They Cry" series is a horror visual novel set in the fictional village of "Hinamizawa Village" in the 1950s and deals with a series of mysterious deaths that are likened to the "Cotton Flushing," an old tradition in the village. After being released as a doujinshi work, it became popular mainly on the Internet, and a wide range of media mixes have been developed, starting with a TV anime adaptation in 2006, and including consumer ports, comic book adaptations, OVA adaptations, and live-action adaptations.

Higurashi When They Cry" and "Higurashi When They Cry Solution" will be broadcast on AbemaTV, a "free internet TV station," which is currently distributing popular late-night anime. The "Late Night Anime Channel" is an all-day viewing service of popular late-night anime broadcasted on the "free internet TV station" "AbemaTV". The program, titled "Summer Vacation Saturday Horror Theater," will air every Saturday for four weeks starting August 12, 2017, with all episodes broadcast together.
