Anime "Saint Dunbine" Blu-ray BOXII to be released! Including 120 minutes of footage documenting the creation of Kazutaka Miyatake's illustrations!

The second volume of the Blu-ray box set of "Saint Dunbine" will be released on September 27.

Saint Dunbine" is a TV animation series broadcast in 1983, directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, known for "Mobile Suit Gundam" and "Densetsu Kyojin Ideon". A young Japanese man, Sho Zama, is summoned to the other world of "Baiston Well" as a "holy warrior" piloting the humanoid machine "Aura Battler". When Shaw learns of the ambitions of Drake Luft, a local lord who plans to rule not only Byston Well but also the world on earth, he boards the Aura Battler "Dunbine" and throws himself into the battlefield. Set in a full-fledged fantasy world, which was still rare at the time, this work has been highly acclaimed not only for its hard-hitting war drama story, but also for its unique character design by Tomoken Kogawa and biological mecha design by Kazutaka Miyatake, and is still very popular today. The story set in "Byston Well" has also become director Tomino's lifework, and this work can be said to be the starting point of the "Byston Well" saga that followed.

Following the release of "Saint Dunbine Blu-ray BOX I" last month, "Saint Dunbine Blu-ray BOX II," which will be released on September 27, includes the bonus video "Recorded Footage of Kazutaka Miyatake's Illustration Work. This is a 120-minute video of Kazutaka Miyatake, who was in charge of the mechanical design, drawing the illustrations.

In addition, the box illustration by Kazutaka Miyatake, the cover of the enclosed bonus "The Complete Collection of Byston Well Records," and the inner jacket by Masami Ozone and Hiroyuki Kitazume have all been completed.
