The "Himouto! Umaru-chan" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) by Sankaku Head. Umaru-chan" is a daily comedy centered on "Hinamono-Seimei! Umaru-chan," or "dried-up sister," who is a talented and impeccable high school girl on the outside, but spends her time at home playing games and reading manga, and her caring older brother Taihei. The second season of "Dried-up Little Sister! Umaru-chan" was announced to start in the fall of 2017. -How did you feel when the second season was decided?

I was incredibly happy!
It was a surprise announcement on Nico Live,
I really didn't know anything about it, so I was so surprised and happy that I cried a lot.
Ahhh~ I am so happy! I feel like shouting "I'm so happy!

-Please tell us about the appeal of the character of Umaru that you felt throughout the first season.

What I have always valued through Umaru is that she loves her big brother no matter what.
I think that is what makes Umaru so cute.
Without big brother, it would never start!
I think that without big brother, Umaru would not be Umaru.
Because big brother is on his side,
Umaru can remain innocent and honest.

-Do you have anything in common or similarities with Umaru?

I eat a lot of sweets, I like chocolate mint, and I think my taste buds are similar to Umaru's!

What is your own "dried-up sister index"? Please also tell us why.

I think it's about 70%.
I like to spend my time at home watching video games and variety shows, eating convenience store sweets, and laughing at myself.
But when I have a day off, I go on solo trips and day trips, so I'd say 70%!

-What is your enthusiasm for the second season?

I hope to be welcomed back by my brothers all over the country who support me. I will continue to play my part with great care in the second season so that I can be greeted kindly by the older brothers across the country who are cheering me on.
