The summer anime "Majutsujin Guruguru" has released a synopsis and scene cuts from episode 6.

This is a gag fantasy work about the adventures of Nike, a boy raised by his hero-maniac father, and Kukuri, a girl from the Migumigu tribe.The sequel, "Mahoujin Guruguru 2" is currently being serialized in"Gan Gan ONLINE" (#).A third TV anime adaptation was announced in January 2017.

This time, episode 6 "Rival Appearance! Achimura! and scene cuts have been released. In addition, the OP & ED artists for the second cool season have been announced, with the OP theme (released on October 25, 2017) to be by ORESAMA and the ED theme (released on November 8, 2017) to be by TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND. Nike and Kukuri set out on a journey to Achimura, where the Dark One is said to reside, when a mysterious stone tablet suddenly appears before them. The two are puzzled by the tablet, which disappears after leaving behind the words of a prophecy. Gipple reminds them to behave as ordinary travelers, and Nike and Kukuri nervously visit the village of Atch, only to find that it is cursed. There, they are asked by the village chief to lift the curse on the village.
