The hotel is located on Parts Street, the former site of the Dospara Parts Building, which was relocated in January 2016.

APA Hotel Akihabara Station Electric Town Exit is a business hotel of the APA Group, which operates nationwide. The other APA Hotel in Akihabara area is "APA Hotel Akihabara Ekimae" (opened in October 2012), which is located in the Showa-dori Exit of JR Akihabara Station.

The hotel is located in the central area of the parts street where long-established PC parts stores such as the former dospara parts building (relocated in January 2016) and T-ZONE PC DIY SHOP (closed in November 2010) used to be located, and has excellent access to these stores.
