Story
The emergence of giant "monsters" and "Godzilla," the ultimate being who destroys even those monsters. After half a century of war against the monster, mankind has been repeatedly defeated and finally plans to escape from the earth. In 2048, only those who had been selected by artificial intelligence under the control of the central government set out on an interstellar emigration ship, the Aratrum, for the planet Tau e in the constellation of Whale, 11.9 light years away. However, the difference in environmental conditions between Tau e and Earth, which took 20 years to reach, was far greater than predicted and could not be called an environment in which humans could survive.

Haruo, a young man aboard the immigrant ship, was four years old when Godzilla killed his parents in front of him, and for 20 years he has thought of nothing but returning to Earth and defeating Godzilla. With the possibility of immigration closed to him and the environment for survival deteriorating, Haruo and the other members of the "return-to-Earth" faction become the mainstream, and they decide to take the dangerous long-distance subspace voyage to Earth.

However, 20,000 years have already passed since their return, and the earth has become an unknown world with an ecosystem led by Godzilla. Can the human race regain the Earth? And what is Haruo's fate?
