2017/8/11-13! Comic Market 92 - Individualistic Cosplayers Photo Report [Still to come!

Comic Market92(C92),the world's largest otaku festival,was held at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Tokyo, fromAugust11to13.

Comic Market, commonly known as Comiket, is the world's largest coterie magazine exhibition held twice a year in August and December. Cosplayers dressed up in costumes of various characters from anime, games, comics, and other genres add color to Comiket. In this issue, we will introduce some of these unique cosplayers.

First of all, we found Tsukino Narumi ( @8IpnWZ5xPx0LOtM ) in the garden, cosplaying as the Female Titan from "Shinkage no Kyojin.

The idea of recreating the Titan in full body tights is an idea in itself, but what was amazing about her was the "movement" she was able to recreate. The female-form Titan excels at striking and fighting, but she did an excellent job of holding down the timing of the shot, stopping just as the high kick is about to be launched and stopping just as the kicking leg is fully extended!　The predatory scenes and punches were also very powerful.




Speaking of movement, one of the most powerful figures wasCammy (from the "Street FighterII" series) byLady Beard(@Ladybeard_Japan),a famous cosplayer who is a macho transvestite.


She does side-air-like moves on the spot, or turns with one hand supporting her full weight. I apologize for the out-of-focus effect of the too-fast speed. She was not only cute, but also showed off her muscles.




Another foreign layer who was exceptionally cute wasJérôme Fornage(@ApoCosplay).


She was not trying to be "cute," but rather, each movement and gesture oozed "kawaii," which made me think about the meaning of cuteness.
