Cast of "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title)" is revealed!　11 members including Shotaro Morikubo as Kouji Kabuto and Ai Chino as Sayaka Yumi have been announced.

The cast for "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title)," scheduled for release in January 2018, has been announced.

Mazinger Z" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) by Go Nagai in 1972, and can be said to be the originator of the combined/riding giant robot anime that depicts the activities of Mazinger Z, a giant robot boasting a variety of armaments and overwhelming strength, and its pilot, Kouji Kabuto. The TV animation recorded the highest viewer rating of 30.4% in the 1970s, and also gained a large number of fans in various parts of the world. It is still a huge hit with many enthusiastic fans around the world. As a super project of Mr. Go Nagai, who is celebrating his 50th anniversary, a new anime movie "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title)" is scheduled to be produced and released in January 2018.

In addition to the cast information, a special character video showing scenes from the film with each character's dialogue was also released.

Shotaro Morikubo plays Kouji Kabuto, a former hero who has retired from the front lines to become a researcher; Ai Kayano plays Sayaka Yumi, the heroine who is also the new director of the Photon Power Institute; and Sumire Uesaka plays Lisa, a mysterious beautiful girl who holds the key to the story. Natsuki Hanae plays Shiro Kabuto, Kouji Kabuto's younger brother who is also an active pilot; Wataru Takagi plays Kabuto Kouji's war buddy and reliable older brother, Boss; and Kappei Yamaguchi and Masami Kikuchi are his two henchmen. Jumpei Morita as Prime Minister Yumi, father of Sayaka Yumi, who once served as director of the Photon Power Institute and is now prime minister; Satoshi Shimada as the super-slow scientist Dr. Nobusori; and Kozo Shioya as the research-loving scientist Dr. Seishi. And Unsho Ishizuka as Dr. Hell, an evil genius scientist with a plan to take over the world.
