Fireball Humorous," the latest in Disney's popular "Fireball" animated short series, will be broadcast on Dlife (channel number: BS258), a nationwide free BS TV station, from October 6 (Friday).
Fireball" is a popular Disney short 3DCG animation that aired from April to June 2008. Set in a world ruled by machine-made aristocrats called "Hyperion," it is a comedy depicting the everyday conversation between two robots, Drossel, the daughter of Duke Flugel, and his butler, Gedechtnis. The surrealistic dialogue between the two expressionless robots, which is filled with various parodies, has become popular, and a second season, "Fireball Charming," was broadcast from April to June 2011. This is the first Disney film produced in Japan with Japanese staff, directed and written by Wataru Arakawa, character design by Takayuki Yanase, and music by Yoshiyuki Usui. Animation production is by Genies.
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the BS TV station Dlife, the long-awaited third season of "Fireball Humorous," produced after six years of absence, will be broadcast for three consecutive months, with one episode a month starting on October 6, 2017 (Friday).
