TV anime "March Lion" 2nd series to air from October 14, 2017! Key visual release & SP event information!

The second series of the TV anime "March Lion" will be broadcast on NHK General TV from October 14, 2017 (Saturday).




March Lion" is a TV anime based on Chika Umino's manga serialized in "Young Animal" (Hakusensha), and the first season of the TV anime, which aired from October 2016 to March 2017, depicted the interaction between Rei Kiriyama, a lonely professional high school player living in downtown Tokyo, and the people around him. The TV anime staff includes director Akiyuki Shinbo, character design by Nobuhiro Sugiyama, and animation production by Shaft. It was announced that the second series will be broadcast from October 2017.

It has been decided that the 22 episodes of the second series of the TV anime "March Lion" will be broadcast on NHK Sogo TV from October 14, 2017 (Saturday). In addition, a key visual for the second series has been unveiled. The second season will depict the growth of the main character, Rei Kiriyama, and themes such as bullying issues.

In addition, a "TV anime "March Lion" special event" will be held on September 3, 2017 (Sun) at Sayama City Civic Hall in Saitama!　The three Kawamoto sisters will be voiced by Ai Chino, Kana Hanazawa, and Misaki Hisano, so don't miss out on this gorgeous event!
