SOUND THEATRE x Natsume Yuujinchou ~Onogeki no Chapters 2018~", a new type of musical reading theater, has released additional cast and program information!

From the TV anime "Natsume's Book of Friends," additional cast and program information for the new music reading play "SOUND THEATRE × Natsume's Book of Friends: Chapter of Sound Play 2018," which will be performed on January 6, 2018 (Saturday), has been released.

Natsume's Book of Friends" is a manga work serialized in "Monthly LaLa" (Hakusensha) by Yuki Midorikawa. It is a popular work that depicts the main character Takashi Natsume and his bouncer Nyanko sensei as they meet various people and youkai and grow up together.

"SOUND THEATRE" (Sound Theatre) is a production that is not only based on the "reading aloud" part, which is the foundation of a reading play, but also pays attention to stage design, lighting, special effects (special effects), costumes, and other elements that stimulate all five senses. The "SOUNDTHEATRE x Natsume's Book of Friends" was held at the International Forum in September 2013, and at the Maihama Amphitheater in December 2015. In December 2015, "SOUNDTHEATRE x Natsume's Book of Friends: Shuui Ondekageki no Chapters Again" was performed again at the Maihama Amphitheater, and was a great success.

The additional cast for "SOUND THEATRE × Natsume's Book of Friends: The Sound Play Chapter 2018," which will be performed at the Tokyo International Forum on Saturday, January 6, 2018, includes Miki Ito, Eiji Ito, Kazuma Horie, Akemi Okamura, Takaya Kuroda, Takashi Matsuyama, Hirofumi Shimozaki, Kyoko Chigiri, Kubo Yurika Kubo, Arisa Seito, and Hozumi Gouda. It was also announced that the first act will be a sound play version of "Naughty Rain" and the second act will be a story newly written by Takahiro Omori.
