The romance app game "Tokimeki Restaurant ☆☆☆" will be adapted into a theater anime to commemorate the 5th anniversary of its service.

Tokimeki Restaurant ☆☆" is a romance app game for women that has been in development since 2013. In the game, players manage a restaurant and interact with two groups of male idols who visit the restaurant. The game features a wide range of media mix development with the production that the six idols appearing in the game are real.

To celebrate the service's 5th anniversary in 2018, a theatrical anime adaptation has been decided. Although there have been many CD, book, and merchandise projects in the past, this is the first time an anime adaptation has been made.

The film, entitled "Tokimeki Restaurant MIRACLE 6 the Movie," will be shown in a "Tokimeki Cheering Screening," which allows viewers to cheer for the idols in the game, as well as use penlights to cheer for them.

Production I.G, one of Japan's leading animation studios, will produce the film, and animation director Chiaki Kon, who has worked on many popular anime such as "Nodame Cantabile" and "The World's First Love," will be in charge of the animation.

Daisuke Namikawa, Daisuke Kishio, and Tetsuya Kakihara will voice the two idol groups appearing in the game, "3 Majesty," and Kosuke Toriumi, Satoshi Hino, and Takuya Eguchi will voice the "X.I.P." groups.

The leaders of the two idol groups that appear in the game, "3 Majesty" and "X.I.P.," have commented on their respective roles.
