An advance screening of the first three episodes of the 2017 fall anime "Whale Children Sing Above the Sand" will be held.
Whale Children Sing on the Sand" is a manga series by Abi Umeda, serialized in Monthly Mystery Bonita (Akita Shoten). Set in a world where sand covers everything, this fantasy work delicately depicts a group of boys and girls, including Chakuro, a boy recorder who lives on a giant drifting ship called "Mud Whale," which drifts on the sea. The TV anime will start airing in October 2017.

Prior to the broadcast in October, an advance screening will be held. The screening will be followed by a cast talk with Hanae Natsuki, Ishimi Mainaka, and Umehara Yuichiro, who appear in the main anime, on stage.
