The 5th "Ani Tama Festival" was held on October 22 at Sonic City, Saitama!　Voice actors and idols related to Saitama Prefecture, such as Miyu Kubota and Azusaki Shibuya, gathered!

The 5th "Anitama Festival (Anime and Manga Festival in Saitama)" will be held at Sonic City in front of Omiya Station in Saitama Prefecture on Sunday, October 22, 2017.

The "Anitama Festival" is a comprehensive anime and manga event held every year in Saitama Prefecture under the theme of "Anime and Tourism," with stage shows, talk events, and goods sales. Last year's event was a great success, with 34,000 people attending in one day.

This year, too, the event will feature voice actors and idols associated with Saitama Prefecture, as well as other superb guests.

The MC for the main stage will be Miyu Kubota and Azusuki Shibuya, voice actors from Saitama Prefecture. The two, who are also active as members of "i☆Ris," will deliver a stage full of love for Saitama. In addition, a special live performance by Riho Iida, a native of Saitama Prefecture, who also wowed the main stage at last year's "Anitama Festival," will be held.

It has also been decided that "Saiki Kusuo no Ψ難", which will be made into a live-action movie this year, will also take part in the event. The original author, Shuichi Aso, is from Iruma City, which has a strong connection with Saitama Prefecture. A visual of the main character, Kusuo Saiki, holding Saitama Prefecture in the palm of his hand will be used on flyers and posters, and costumes used in the film will be displayed on the day of the "Anitama Festival.

In addition, the "Exhibition Zone," which attracts many visitors every year, will have many booths again this year. The venue will be a gathering place for popular seasonal anime and works of art. In Kanezuka Park adjacent to Sonic City, the venue for the event, there will be a number of tourism PR booths and food and beverage booths to liven up the event.

In addition, the streets around Sonic City will be pedestrianized, and the "Ani Tama Matsuri Sub Stage" will be held in the event space on the first floor of Omiya Arche.

There will also be a variety of other events, such as an exhibition of painted cars, a cosplay event, and a quiz competition to determine the "Ani Tama Matsuri Anime Test Champion" from among the visitors. For more details, check the official website.
