The song will be released on October 25 (Wed.), 2017. In addition, the lineup of 23 groups of splendid animation song and voice actor artists who transcended labels and gathered to celebrate the 100th anniversary has also been unveiled.

The anime 100th anniversary song will be sung by the same artists who wrote the opening song for "ONE PIECE" "We Are! and many other hit songs. The song was planned by composer Kouhei Tanaka, who has composed many hit songs, including "We Are The World," the opening song for "ONE PIECE." Twenty-three groups of artists of different generations and labels, who are both anime and voice actors, gathered to create an anime song version of "We Are The World" with the artists who have supported the Japanese anime and anime song culture.

In addition, a group of artists including Aki Hata and Seiko Fujibayashi for lyrics, and Kohei Tanaka and Noriyasu Uematsu for music composition, created a magnificent 8-minute-long song.

This song was also chosen as the official song of "Anime NEXT100. Comments
Isao Sasaki (theme song for "Space Battleship Yamato" and "The Galaxy Express 999," etc.)
It is my great pleasure to be able to participate in this magnificent work. I am sure that this song will remain in your hearts as a reminder of my involvement in the history of Japanese animation as a singer and voice actor, which has been built up by our predecessors, and woven together with my friends.

■Ichiro Mizuki (theme song for "Mazinger Z" and "Space Pirate Captain Harlock," etc.)
I feel it is a great honor for me as an animation song singer to be able to participate in the 100th anniversary song, which is a song on a vast scale suitable for the 100th anniversary, and I feel that it contains my own feelings in my life as an animation song singer. I sang it with a renewed sense of how good ani-songs are.

Miyako Horie ("Candy Candy," "Hana no Ko Lun Lun Lun," etc.)
I started singing when I was a child, so I have spent most of my life singing anime songs. I think anime is life itself for me. For this anniversary song, I am looking forward to working with many artists to create a song together. I am looking forward to working with many artists on this anniversary song.

Shoko Nakagawa
I think this song will be a proof that I lived together with legendary senior artists. I will never forget the recordings directed by Mr. Kohei Tanaka and Mr. Ichiro Mizuki for the rest of my life. When I think about how anime songs have been there for me in times of pain and depression, and how they have made me the person I am today, my heart is filled with gratitude. I believe it will be a testament that I lived with the legends, my great seniors."
