Sports Hochi's "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN Special Issue" (tabloid size, 24 all-color pages, 500 yen including tax) will go on sale sequentially from September 2.

The "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin" is an anime work based on the manga of the same title by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the character designer and animation director of the TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam" broadcast in 1979. The event screening of the "Char Seira Arc," which depicts the eve of the One Year War from the viewpoint of the popular character Char Aznable, began in February 2015. It was announced that the "Char Seira Arc" would be completed with "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin IV: Eve of Destiny" and that the "Lum" Arc, which depicts the first battle of the One Year War, would be produced at the end of 2016 with a total of two episodes.

As we have already reported, "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin V: The Battle of Loum" will be screened in theaters and sold on Blu-ray in advance from September 2, 2017. 24 pages, 500 yen including tax) of "Sports Hochi" will go on sale sequentially from September 2.

It will include interviews with Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the manga author and general director; Toru Furuya, who plays Amuro Ray; Megumi Ban, who plays Seira Mas; Toshio Furukawa, who plays Kai Siden; Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays Claure Hamon; and Shigeo Kiyama, who plays Ramba Ral; an undercover interview in the production studio of "THE ORIGIN"; a report on the "First Gundam" and "THE ORIGIN"; and a report on the "First Gundam" and "THE ORIGIN" series. First Gundam" and "THE ORIGIN", CG and mechanical explanations, an oversized poster newly drawn by Sunrise, and much more.

Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin Special Issue" will be on sale at the theater where "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin: The Battle of Loum" is shown, as well as at major train station kiosks, convenience stores (excluding some stores) except in Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu and parts of Shizuoka Prefecture, and Yomiuri Shimbun retail stores (excluding some areas).
It will also be sold at animate, Comic Toranoana, some Gamers stores, all Yodobashi Camera stores, the Akihabara and Odaiba branches of Gundam Cafe, and Gundam Square in Osaka.
The book will also be sold by mail, so be sure to choose the method that is easiest for you to obtain.
