An unprecedented collaboration album by Osamu Tezuka, Isao Tomita, and Hatsune Miku, "Hatsune Miku Sings "Live Music by Osamu Tezuka and Isao Tomita"" (released on September 6, 2017), has been released. The crossfade video is now available.

Hatsune Miku Sings "The Music of Osamu Tezuka and Isao Tomita Live" is a collaboration album planned to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Osamu Tezuka's birth, the 85th anniversary of Isao Tomita's birth, and the 10th anniversary of the release of Hatsune Miku's voice synthesis software. The album is a collaboration between the Japanese jazz legend, Isao Tomita and Hatsune Miku. The album features Isao Tomita and Osamu Tezuka's songs of yesteryear, such as "Knight of the Ribbon," "Jungle Emperor," and "Dororo," with a live jazz performance by Masahiko Sato, a legend in the Japanese jazz world, interwoven with the voices of virtual singers such as Hatsune Miku and Shigeton Tet, as well as duets with real singers. The content of the program includes songs from Osamu Tezuka's past.

Hatsune Miku not only sings but also narrates the entire album as a navigator. The special ending "Respect for All Tezuka's Works" is included at the end of the album. Hatsune Miku takes on the challenge of "rap/poetry reading" for the first time in her official career. Based on a track by up-and-coming trackmaker Kaise Shijima, Crypton will breathe new life into the virtual singer by modifying the existing Hatsune Miku software, and perform a rap/poetry reading that pays respect to the worldview of the great predecessor, Osamu Tezuka, the giant. The album is a tribute to the world of Osamu Tezuka, the great predecessor of the giant. The first pressing limited edition will be released at the same time as the standard edition. The limited first edition will include 5 types of other jackets, 3 types of illustration badges, and download codes for 2 outtakes that are different from the tracks on the album.
