From November 16, 2017 (Thursday), "Utena Revolutionary Girl TV Anime Broadcast 20th Anniversary Exhibition - Memories of Roses and Revolution, Absolute Destiny Revelation" will be held at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro.

Utena: Revolutionary Girl" is a TV animation that started as a TV series in 1997. The original story is by Bee Papas, a group of authors led by director Kunihiko Ikuhara. In conjunction with the start of the anime broadcast, Saito Uchiho, a member of Bee Papas, serialized the manga in "Chao" (Shogakukan), and the manga and anime were depicted as two separate works. The surrealistic visuals depicted friendship, brotherly love, and homosexuality... The story of people with insurmountable barriers fighting to change the world struck a chord with viewers and left a rare presence in the anime world.

This event will be held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of this work. The work still has a strong fan base, and after 20 years, why not be invited back into the world of "Revolutionary Girl Utena"?
