On November 3, "Record Day," "Puella Magi Madoka Magica Ultimate Best" will be released on analog vinyl!

In celebration of "Record Day" on November 3, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" Ultimate Best analog records will be released on November 3, 2017 (Friday).

Puella Magi Madoka Magica" is an original anime work that depicts the harsh fate of girls who become "magical girls" and fight against the enemies of mankind as the price for fulfilling their wishes. The film was released in 2011. An animated film "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie" was also produced, and in 2012, "[Part 1] Begginings" and "[Part 2] Eternal Story," which are re-edited versions of the TV series, were released, followed by the completely new "[New Part] Rebellion" in 2013. Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo of "Monogatari Series," script by Gen Urobuchi of "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass," original character design by Ume Aoki of "Hidamari Sketch," and music by Yuki Kajiura of "Sword Art Online. Animation production is by Shaft, creator of "Monogatari Series" and "Hidamari Sketch.

Record Day" is an event organized by Toyo Kasei, an analog record press manufacturer, and is held annually on November 3 to promote analog records.

The analog record "'Puella Magi Madoka Magica' Ultimate Best" is the only anime genre title in the lineup to be released this year; like the CD version released in August 2017, it covers representative songs from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" TV and theater versions, etc. It includes a total of 18 vocal tracks, including OP & ED songs by ClariS and Kalafina, character songs, and a theatrical accompaniment song by Yuki Kajiura. In addition, the LP-sized double jacket will use the copyright drawn by Junichiro Taniguchi for the limited-time production CD.
