Acoustic manufacturer DENON will release the AH-C620R Astro Girls Special Edition in-ear headphones, a special edition featuring the Astro Girls, the official publicity character created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of headphone sales, in mid-December 2017, limited to 2,500 units. The "AstroGirls" are popular and well-liked girls.

The "Astro Girls" are DENON's publicity characters featuring the voices of popular voice actors Uesaka Sumire and Ogura Yui, and the first collaborative headphones were released in 2016 and were well received.

The second limited collaboration model to be released this time is based on the AH-C620R released in September 2016. The package features a new visual depiction of the AH-C620R, and as a bonus for purchasing the model, it includes a new character song sung by Amadate Mahiru (CV: Uesaka Sumire) and Amadate Shin (CV: Ogura Yui), and an audio drama depicting the events that took place when the Astro Girls first promoted DENON products in an electronics retail store. In addition, a total of six winners will be selected in a drawing to receive autographs of Amateru Hi and Amateru Shin.
