The "Hatsune Miku 'Magical Mi-Rae 2017'" event was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture over three days from September 1 (Friday) to 3 (Sunday), 2017. The live performance, which ended in a great success, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD as soon as possible. The release is scheduled for January 10, 2018 (Wednesday).

Hatsune Miku is a software and character developed by Crypton Future Media Inc. that allows anyone to sing a song by entering lyrics and melody. Hatsune Miku became the talk of the town when many creators made music with her and posted it on the Internet. The character has also attracted attention as a character and is now a "virtual singer" who is active in a variety of fields, including merchandise and live performances, and her popularity has spread around the world.

The "Hatsune Miku 'Magical Mirai'" event is held every year, where visitors can experience the creative culture of Hatsune Miku through live performances and special exhibitions. This time, a limited edition "Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary Edition" will be released to commemorate the anniversary year. This commemorative edition includes a special storage box, a special video disc, and a CD containing a memorial song album of new songs by artists who have had a significant impact on the music scene as well as the "Hatsune Miku" scene. The album includes new songs by "Neru," "halyosy," and "livetune," as well as collaboration songs by "Jin x kemu" and "Mitchie M x OSTER project," which were only possible because of the 10th anniversary of the project.
