Rurouni Kenshin" is back after 18 years! The long-awaited new serialization of "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan: Hokkaido Arc" will begin in the October special issue of JUMP SQ!

Nobuhiro Watsuki's popular "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" series has begun a new serial, "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan, Hokkaido Arc," starting with the October special issue of Jump Square released on September 4, 2017 (Monday).

Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" is a manga series by Nobuhiro Watsuki that has sold over 60 million copies and was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1994 to 1999, and has been adapted into various forms of media mix, including a TV anime series and a trilogy of live-action films.

The new serialization "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan, Hokkaido Arc" by Nobuhiro Watsuki (story cooperation by Kaoru Kurozaki) finally started in the October special issue of Jump Square, which will go on sale on September 4, 2017 (Monday).

Eighteen years after the end of the previous installment, this legitimate sequel features all the main popular characters, including Himura Kenshin. The special supplement is a "Rurouni Kenshin Special A5 Clear File" (the first of two consecutive issues).

In addition, to commemorate the start of the serialization, a special website for smartphones, " Kamiya Kenshin Ryu Monkasho Examination," has been open since August 31 (Thu.).
