The broadcast date and the third PV of the fall anime "Whale Children Sing on the Sand" have been released.

Whale Children Sing on the Sand" is a manga series by Abi Umeda, serialized in "Monthly Mystery Bonita" (Akita Shoten). Set in a world where sand covers everything, this fantasy work delicately depicts a group of boys and girls, including Chakuro, a boy recorder who lives on a huge drifting ship called "Mud Whale," which drifts on the sea.

The fall anime "Whale Children Sing on the Sand" will start airing on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and Netflix on October 8, 2017 (Sun), and on BS11 on October 10 (Tue).

The opening theme song is "Sono Mirai (Future)" by RIRIKO.
RIRIKO is a singer-songwriter who is currently a student at Tokyo College of Music. Her mellow melody line and spontaneous, straightforward vocals are characteristic of her work, and she is currently performing mainly at live houses in Tokyo.

The ending theme song is "Hashitairo" by rionos.
rionos is a creator who has provided songs for many artists, including ChouCho, Rena Ueda, and Little Glee Monster.
