Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on Fujio Akatsuka's explosive hit gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. Even now, a year after its airing, the series continues to be developed into a wide variety of products, collaborations with convenience stores, JRA, and other major collaborations, and even game applications and stage performances. On August 6, it was announced that the project unit A-O-P would be performing the opening theme for the second season, following the first season.

The main visual released this time, following the previous teaser visuals, was newly drawn by character designer Naoyuki Asano and depicts the characters sitting at the Matsuno house under a blue sky, waiting for the second season to air.

In the teaser visual released in June, the six children were on their way back to earth from outer space, but in this visual, they have arrived safely at the Matsuno house by parachute and can be seen relaxing on the porch. Of course, Iyami, Chibita, Totoko, Dekapan, and Dayon are all still there, and the visuals foreshadow the unconventional content of the second season, as Dayon is a cloud above the six children, fish are swimming in the sky, and Dekapan is flying with a dinosaur.
