The excitement of the film will come back to life, transcending time and space! The 35th Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The Art Exhibition" will finally begin on Saturday, September 9!

The exhibition "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The Art Exhibition," which brings together valuable materials related to "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes," will open on Saturday, September 9.

The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" is a science fiction novel written by Yoshiki Tanaka, and since its first volume was published in 1982, it has become a bestseller with a total of more than 15 million copies in circulation. The anime series, which began production in 1988, has been expanded to 110 episodes in OVA, 52 episodes in Gaiden, and 3 theatrical productions. It has been developed in a variety of media, including comics, games, and stage plays, and a new animation is currently being produced by Production I.G., Inc.

The exhibition "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The Art Exhibition," which brings together valuable materials related to "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes," will finally begin on September 9 (Sat.).

The exhibition will be held at Niigata City Manga Anime Information Center from September 9 (Sat) to October 15 (Sun), and at Akiba CO Gallery in Tokyo from October 21 (Sat) to November 5 (Sun), followed by other exhibitions throughout Japan.

The exhibition will feature a miraculously discovered copy of Yoshiki Tanaka's handwritten manuscript (first time in Japan), original cover art and illustrations of the Tokuma Novels edition of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" drawn by Naoyuki Kato (first time in Japan), animation production materials such as celluloid pictures and design drawings, and many other materials from that time that have been discovered beyond time and space. The exhibition will feature a wide range of materials from the time period that have been discovered over time and space. We hope that visitors will feel the atmosphere of those days by looking at the materials in every corner.

Another highlight is a new painting by Naoyuki Kato, drawn especially for this exhibition.
There will also be an impressive corner that recreates the battle of the fleet with 480 battleship models, and a photo spot where visitors can sit in the commander's chair and take pictures with the characters.

Naoyuki Kato will be doing live painting at the Niigata venue on September 9 and 10. He will be painting a huge canvas of the battleship that is the symbol of the work. The completed work will be exhibited at the subsequent venues. For more details, please check the official website.

Why not visit this unprecedented exhibition where you can fully immerse yourself in the world of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes"?
