Official Report] (*Honorifics omitted)

Yuko Sanpei
Welcome to the Completion Screening!
It has been 12 years since the TV series, and I am very happy to be able to be involved in Eureka Seven again. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone will think of the film now that the recording is over.

It has been a long time since I played a character from Psalms of Planets.
Since the TV series 12 years ago, I have had the opportunity to play the role of Renton in various games and animations, but I had mixed feelings about playing the same scene I played 12 years ago from the first episode in the movie version. I thought about how I would have played the role when I was 19 or 20 years old back then, and I was looking forward to it, but I was also quite nervous. However, I was able to enter the scene and the recording itself went smoothly, and we were able to finish the recording successfully. It was a really long day!

What can you tell us about Adrock, Renton's father, played by Mr. Furuya in the movie?

I envy Mr. Nazuka, who recorded the movie with me! I didn't get to see the recording session, but I got to see Mr. Furuya's scene in the preview, and from the very first word, I thought, "That's Ad-Rock. I wasn't sure if I was crying as Renton or myself, but I was moved. The legendary Mr. Furuya played the character of Adrock, and moreover, he is portrayed as a human being in the film. I think it is worth watching for this reason alone.

One last word.

This film may not be easy for beginners, but that's the Eureka way (laughs), so please come to the theater and experience both the voices and the music. Thank you very much.

Kaori Nazuka
On the occasion of the completion screening
Thank you all for coming. I was unusually nervous yesterday, and I couldn't sleep at all!

It's been a long time since I played a Psalms of Planets character.
I wondered how it would be like to meet the cast members of Eureka seveN, even though I have met them at other places, to get together with them for the first time in 12 years for a work called "Eureka seveN. I was very impressed by how easily I was able to get into the role on the set. Some people were giggling in the back of the booth, and I thought it was nostalgic. I was young at the time and could have played the role of a junior high school student if I had just worked hard at it, but now that I am an adult, I have experienced many things and know many things. It was a long day.

About Adrock, Renton's father, played by Mr. Furuya in the film

I had the opportunity to do the recording with him, and it was really great to work with someone who is a legend in the industry. As he said, I can't give you any details because it would be a spoiler before you see the movie, but it is a great scene! I think the new footage at the beginning of the film is something that Eureka fans will appreciate.

One last thing.
I am very happy to have been able to work on this film after 12 years. I think it is thanks to your support. I know the film is not always kind to some, but I hope you all enjoy it.

General Director Tomoki Kyoda
On the Occasion of the Completion Screening
There were times when I thought that the film would never make it this far, but thanks to the support of the cast and crew, we have managed to reach this point. I am filled with emotion, but at the same time I am nervous about the stage greeting, so I have mixed feelings.

What were some of the special aspects of the film?

We were particular about creating handwritten action scenes. Thanks to the hard work of various staff members, led by Yasushi Muraki, we were able to achieve our initial goal of creating 30 minutes of robot battle scenes, and I think we succeeded.

About the use of Mr. Ozaki

When I was struggling with Dai Sato, the scriptwriter, about what to do for the theme song, we decided to open iTunes, and Mr. Ozaki happened to be there. I thought, "Oh, I was here! I thought, "I want to ask Mr. Ozaki to do this!" From there, the staff worked very hard to overcome various hurdles and make it happen. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Ozaki.

One last thing.

As I mentioned at the beginning, many things have happened to get to this point, and now we are finally ready for you to see it. My mind is already occupied with the next part. All of us are running toward Part 2. Of course you can enjoy the film just by watching Part 1, but I hope you will enjoy Part 2 and Part 3 as well. Please enjoy Part 1 first.

Hiroya Ozaki
About the first offer
When I first heard about it, I thought, "Finally, my time has come! I thought, "Finally, my time has come!

About the theme song "Glory Days
When it was decided that I would be in charge of the theme song, I looked at the storyboards of the TV series from 12 years ago as well as the film, and in one of them, there is a line from Adrock, the father of the main character Renton who died when he was young, that says, "Don't beg, win, and you will be given. This is something I can relate to. I was able to relate to Renton's feelings and his determination to overcome his father's greatness. That's what I was thinking about when I sang the song.

One last thing.

I am honored to be involved in a film that is supported by the fans. I hope you will think of this movie as a new world, and I hope you will enjoy it!
