Popular French-Italian restaurant BISTRO UOKIN Akihabara to close for lunch on September 1 (Fri.) Reopening date TBD

BISTRO UOKIN Akihabara, a popular French-Italian restaurant, will be closed for lunch for the time being starting Friday, September 1. (*Lunch business will resume on July 1, 2019).

Locatedalongside Yodobashi Akiba and Lawson Akihabara North Exit Store. It is located on the 2nd floor of JEBL Akihabara Square, which was completed last August.




Uokin is a popular izakaya (Japanese-style bar) chain that operates the seafood izakaya "Uokin" and the French-Italian restaurant "BISTRO UOKIN" mainly in Shimbashi, Tokyo.

French-Italian "BISTRO UOKIN Akihabara" opened on January 16 this year on the second floor of "JEBL Akihabara Square" along with the seafood izakaya "Uokin Akihabara," and both restaurants started lunch business on February 1.

According to the "Notice of Lunch Closure" posted on the storefront, "Thank you for your continued patronage of Bistro UOKIN Akihabara. We regret to inform you that we will be closed for lunch from September 1, 2017 (Friday) for the time being. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Dinner time will be open as usual. The restaurant will be open as usual during dinner hours.

The seafood tavern "Uokin" next door is still open for lunch.
