The official voting project "2017 Summer Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll," which was held from August 22 to September 6 on the anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Institute, has ended. Which song won the OP theme that received 18870 votes in total?　Let's take a look at the results right away.

The winner of the ranking this time was "Clione no Torori" (Light of Clione ) by aki, which also won first place in the "2016 Anime Annual OP & ED Popularity Poll". At the time of the interim announcement, he was still about 1,000 votes ahead of second place, and he continued to steadily increase his vote count.

In second place was "Yes/No" (Ikemen Sengoku ◆Time ga Kakeru ga Koi ha Hajimanai) by newcomer unit Star Concerto. Despite being their debut song, it was a good start for them to take the No. 2 spot.

In third place was "10% roll, 10% romance" (Welcome to the Ballroom). UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, who sang this song, will also sing the OP theme song for the fall anime "Bloodline & Beyond," and expectations are high for their next song.

Starting from No. 4, the results were closely followed.

No. 4 "Caste Room" (Welcome to the classroom of merit supremacy) and No. 5 "Only the number of stars" (Kaito Ansa ) were separated by six votes, with "Caste Room" taking the honors. At the time of the interim announcement, "Only the Number of Stars" was leading by about 30 votes, so the result was a reversal.

In sixth place, "STEP by STEP UP↑↑↑↑" (NEW GAME!) is the theme song of the much-talked-about work that won the first place in the recently held "2017 Summer Anime Popularity Poll to Watch Starting Soon. The song's groovy dialogue made people's mouths drop involuntarily, and it maintained its No. 6 position as in the interim announcement.

7th place "Hero: Poem of Destiny" (Fate/Apocrypha), 8th place "Aimai Moko" (Tsuren Children), 9th place "Zenryoku☆Summer!" (Aho Girls), all by about 40 to 50 votes, and 10th place "GAMERS!(Princess Principal), which is not listed in the table above, and "Passion Fruits" (Action Heroine Cheer Fruits), which is ranked 12th, with a difference of 15 votes, so an upset could have occurred at any time.
