A limited Web video of the Internet "NURO" narrated by voice actress Megumi Hayashibara was released today, September 12 (Tue.).

A limited Web video of the Internet service "NURO," narrated by voice actress Megumi Hayashibara, was released today, September 12 (Tue.).

While Masatoh Ibu was the narrator for the TV commercial that began airing on September 8, voice actress Megumi Hayashibara was chosen as the narrator for the limited Web video.

Ms. Hayashibara's voice expresses a world free from speed, as narrated by the "world's fastest" "me.

The "And I am" episode is scheduled to be released on YouTube on September 15 (Fri.), and the limited video leading to the "And I am" episode will be available only on the official NURO website. We hope you will check out both of them.

Sony Network Communications Corporation established "NURO", the world's fastest(*1) Internet service brand, in April 2013. In June 2015, the company launched "NURO Hikari," an FTTH service with a maximum downstream speed of 2 Gbps(*2) based on the "GPON" optical Internet transmission standard, and in June 2016, adopted the next-generation "XG-PON (10-Gigabit-capable passive optical network)," the next-generation GPON standard, and further expanded the service to "NURO Hikari" with a maximum downstream speed of 2 Gbps.
