The "Imouto ga shirubeka itaeba" (I wish I had a younger sister) is a light novel (illustrated by Kantoku, Shogakukan, Gaga Bunko) by Yomi Hirasaka Yomi of "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" fame. It is a coming-of-age romantic comedy depicting the daily life of the main character, Hajima Izuki, and her unique friends. Hajima Itsuki, a novelist with a foolish younger sister, is surrounded by a group of unique individuals, including Kani Nayuta, a high-end, regrettable beauty who is heavyweight in both love and talent; Shirakawa Kyo, a triple crown of youth who worries about love, friendship, and dreams; Ono Ashley, a demon tax saver; and Priketsu, a genius illustrator. In May 2017, a TV anime adaptation was announced, and it will be broadcast sequentially from October 8 (Sun.).
