HUNGRY DAYS Heidi, Girl of the Alps", the second in a series of new Cup Noodles commercials, goes on air nationwide on Thursday, September 14!

Continuing on from the first installment, the character design is by Eisaku Kubonouchi and the music is "Commemorative Photo" by "BUMP OF CHICKEN". The voice actors are members of the popular group E-girls, and have also worked on the movies "Kokoro ga yatteiru yagatteiru" (The Heart Wants to Cry) and "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso"; Amamiya Ten, who plays the heroine Kirishima Kaoruka in the TV anime "Tokyo Ghouls" as Clara; and Kamiya Hiroshi, who plays the soldier captain Levi in the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin" as Peter, make up the splendid lineup. This is a completely new "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" that no one has ever seen before, so be sure to check it out.

■Story
Heidi, who is now in high school but still retains an innocent look on her face, is a 16-year-old girl who attends the same girls' school as Clara, who has an air of sophistication about her. She is a classy girl, popular among younger students, and even works as a reader's model, and is the object of Heidi's admiration. Why can't I be Clara? Heidi confides her worries to her childhood friend Peter, who has gone to a different school, "I don't know..." But then Peter says to her, "I don't know what to do now. But then Peter affirms that he likes Heidi the way she is. Peter's confession makes Heidi aware of the opposite sex for the first time. What will be the outcome of this heartrending story?

A first-year high school student at a private all-girls middle and high school. She has been a member of the track club since junior high school and always wears a jersey. She often falls down and gets injured. Her personality is cheerful and energetic, but in fact she is sensitive. Whenever she feels down, she goes to the park to ride on the swings. He has not yet fully understood the feeling of "love" yet. She is not aware of her childhood friend Peter as a member of the opposite sex, and she has an unexpressed admiration for Clara and a sense of inferiority. Her favorite foods are bread and cheese.

A first-year high school student at the same girls' school as Heidi. She is a beautiful and talented girl. She is a very mature girl among her classmates and is looked up to by everyone. She is also admired by the younger students in the junior high school. She is also active as a reader's model after being approached on the street on her way home from school. She has been close to Heidi since they were small children, and loves her like a younger sister. Her favorite color is blue like the Alpine sky.

<Peter
A first-year high school student at a boys' school. He is soft-spoken and blunt, but has a kind heart. He works part-time at "Cafe Alps," which is run by Onji. He has known Haiji for a long time and used to play with him in the mountains and parks when they were children. Even now, as a high school student, he is a good advisor to Haiji. He is a member of the baseball club and dreams of one day hitting a home run into the Alps.

■Anna Ishii (playing Heidi)
Born in Tokyo on July 11, 1998, Anna Ishii is a performer and actress in E-girls. She won the 58th Blue Ribbon Award for Best Newcomer for her roles in the films "Solomon's Perjury: First Part, Case / Second Part, Trial" (15) and "Girl's Step" (15). Her other film credits include the movie "April is Your Lie" (16), the drama "Aogeba Toutoshi" (16), and the movie "My Heart Cries Out to You. (17), etc.

-Are there any points that were difficult for you when you tried your hand at voice acting, or any points that you had to work on?
There were many difficult points, but I struggled the most when I had to speak at a speed that matched the picture.
Although I only used my voice, I tried to make my facial expressions brighter when I spoke cheerfully, and I tried to do what I could in my own way to make it better.
I spent a lot of time working with the director and all the staff to make it even better.

-What did you think when you were asked to do this commercial?
It was my first attempt at voice acting, so I was anxious about how it would turn out, but I was determined to give it my all!
I had seen the "Witch's Delivery Service" episode on TV, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to voice-act this time!

-Do you have any " aoharu (youth)" episodes?
During the filming of the movie "My heart is crying out for you! I felt my youth a lot during the filming of the movie "My Heart is Screaming. We practiced for the musical scene after the shooting and on days when we didn't have to shoot, we all got together and practiced hard, and finally performed in front of the audience.
It was a lot of hard work, but I also felt a great sense of accomplishment, and the filming was a coming-of-age experience for me.

Amamiya Ten ( Clara)
Born in Tokyo in 1993 and a member of Music Rain, Amamiya won the 9th Seiyu Award for Best New Actress in 2015. Her major roles include Kaori Fujimiya in the anime "One Week Friends," Touka Kirishima in "Tokyo Gourmet," and Elizabeth in "Seven Deadly Sins. While active as a voice actor, he is also active as an artist, demonstrating his multiple talents.

■Kamiya Hiroshi (as Peter)
Born on January 28 in Chiba Prefecture and affiliated with Aoni Productions, Kamiya is a talented voice actor who was inducted into the Seiyu Award Hall of Fame at the 10th Seiyu Awards in 2016 and has played many famous characters. His major works include the roles of Trafalgar Law in the anime "ONE PIECE," Levi Ackermann in "Shinkage no Kyojin," and Buriurizaemon in "Crayon Shinchan.
