The Original! Cooking battle anime "Mr. Ajikko" is now available on Blu-ray with the highest picture quality! To celebrate the release of the BOX, a special broadcast of the first episode is scheduled!

The original! Cooking battle anime "Mr. Ajikko" will be released in the highest quality Blu-ray BOX. In addition, to celebrate the release of the Blu-ray BOX, a special broadcast of the first episode will be shown on TOKYO MX.

Based on the popular manga "Mr. Ajikko" by Daisuke Terasawa, known for "Shota no Sushi" and "Gokuitan". The TV anime was broadcast for two years from 1987 to 1989, and gained popularity for its ridiculous, flamboyant, and dynamic direction, especially the reactions of the characters. The original plan was for the program to run for around 25 episodes, but due to its popularity, it was extended and extended, becoming a popular program with a longevity of 99 episodes. The director is Yasuhiro Imagawa of "Mobile Mutant G Gundam" and "Tetsujin 28. Minami Takayama, known for her roles in "Detective Conan," played the lead role for the first time in this production.

Mr. Ajikko," celebrating its 30th anniversary since its broadcast, will be released as a Blu-ray box set for the first time in full HD remastering with the highest picture quality.
Mr. Ajikko Itadakimasu Box [Blu-ray]" will be released on November 2 (Thursday), and "Mr. Ajikko Gochisosama Box [Blu-ray]" on February 2, 2018.

From the "Mr. Ajikko Itadakimasu BOX" to be released on Thursday, November 2, illustrations of the three-sided art box, Digi-Stack 1, and Digi-Stack 2, drawn by Masahiro Kase, Kazuaki Mohri, have arrived!　The book will also include an audio commentary by the main cast, and other gorgeous extras, so be sure to check it out.

To celebrate the release of "Mr. Ajikko" Blu-ray BOX, the first episode of the TV anime will be broadcast in HD remastering on October 1 (Sun.) at 24:00 on TOKYO MX.
It was also announced that two episodes will be distributed on AbemaTV, Natsukashi Anime Channel, every weekday from September 29.
