This is a gag fantasy work about the adventures of Nike, a boy raised by his hero-maniac father, and Kukuri, a girl from the Migumigu tribe.The sequel, "Mahoujin Guruguru 2" is currently being serialized in"Gan Gan ONLINE" (#).A third TV anime adaptation was announced in January 2017.

After being caught by bandits in Copal, Nike and Kukuri join the bandits and become his apprentices on the condition that they teach Sly, the bandits' head, how to cook. In town, at a store set up by Adamski, Toma's eyes sparkle at the monster detector he has developed. Seeing the monster detector reacting to the minister of Kopal who comes there, Tomas and his friends learn that the minister is a monster.
