Hiroyuki Sawano's vocal project, SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], performs live at the special ceremony for the "life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue.

SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], a vocal project by popular playwright Hiroyuki Sawano, performed "Cage," the theme song for the full-scale Unicorn Gundam standing statue in Odaiba, Tokyo, at a special ceremony for the first time.

The GREEN TOKYO Gundam Project, which drew 4.15 million visitors to Odaiba's Shiokaze Park over 52 days in the summer of 2009, will be held from spring 2012 to spring 2017, with the 18m life-size Gundam standing statue once again stepping on Tokyo's land, contributing to the revitalization of the Rinkai Fukutoshin area. As part of the "TOKYO Gundam Project 2017," it was announced that the "life-size Unicorn Gundam Standing Statue" would be exhibited at "DiverCity Tokyo Plaza Festival Square" starting on September 24 (Sun.).

A special ceremony for the "life-size Unicorn Gundam Standing Statue" was held on September 24 (Sun.) at "DiverCity Tokyo Plaza" Festival Square, where popular playwright Hiroyuki Sawano's vocal project "SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] (nZk)" was performed. The theme song "Cage," written by the vocal project "SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]" (popular playwright Hiroyuki Sawano), was performed for the first time.

Mr. Sawano is a popular play-by-play artist who has composed music for numerous hit anime productions, including "Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn)," "Re:CREATORS," and "Shinkoku no Kyojin. While extremely busy, he is also developing his own artist activities, SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], and recently released his 2nd album "2V-ALK" (Walk) on September 20. It has been a hit in various places, ranking No. 2 on the Oricon CD album ranking, No. 2 on the iTunes album ranking, and No. 1 on the mora high-resolution ranking.

On September 24 (Sun.), Mr. Sawano participated in a special ceremony for the grand opening of the "life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue," which is now on display at the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza's Festival Plaza.

At the special ceremony, the aforementioned SawanoHiroyuki [nZk] gave a live performance under the name of SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]. The opening theme "Into the Sky" and ending theme "Next 2 U -eUC-" of the TV animation series "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096" were performed with the "life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue" in the background.

In addition, it was announced that they had written the theme song "Cage" for the "Full-Size Unicorn Gundam Standing Statue," which will be used in the "Wall-G" program, a collaboration between the images projected on the walls of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza and the "Full-Size Unicorn Gundam Standing Statue," and performed it at the same live concert for the first time. The song was performed for the first time at the concert. The special program "Wall-G" will be held every day from the 24th. SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] will perform a solo live at Zepp DiverCity in February next year, which is also the home of the "Full-Size Unicorn Gundam Standing Statue.
