All songs in the movie were performed! Report on "KIMINO NO KOIDE TO DOKETETETAI" Special Live Screening "Kono Uta wo Todokeitai" with a successful mini live performance of "NOW ON AIR"!

Set in Kamakura, the anime film "Kimi no Koe wo Todokeitai" depicts a miracle that happens in the town and the adolescence of high school girls. The special screening "Kono Uta wo Todokeitai" was held at Shibuya HUMAX Cinema on September 23 (Sat), 2017. The film is highly acclaimed for its story, fresh pictures, insert song and theme song.

The main cast, "NOW ON AIR" (Mina Katahira, Yuki Tanaka, Momone Iwabuchi, Misako Iino, Mitsuho Kobe, and Yotomi Suzuki) took the stage to perform live and talk about the film, and the screening was a full house. Let us report exclusively on the event!

After the screening of "Kimi no Koe wo Todokeitai," the six members of NOW ON AIR took the stage wearing uniforms created in collaboration with the fashion brand "EAST BOY. It was interesting to see how each character's individuality was expressed in the way they dressed, and how the setting of the movie was faithfully recreated, as Ms. Suzuki, who plays Biwakoji Otoha, a student at a private high school, was dressed in her own clothes instead of her uniform.

After a few words from each member, the six members began their live performance. First, they sang the image song of the movie, "Kono Koe wo Arimasu Hashimasu" (May This Voice Reach You), to which the audience clapped their hands to the lively beat, and the audience got very excited. From there, the audience went into the solo corner.

Mina Katahira, who played a major role in the movie, sang the song "To be the real me" sung by Nagisa Gyogiai. Her straightforward voice, which reminded us of the scenes in the movie, warmed our hearts.

Next, Ms. Yotomi Suzuki sang "Pure song," a song in the movie about Biwakoji Otoha. I was glad to hear the full version of this song, which was sung at the live house in the main program, and more than anything, I felt as if the movie theater had become a live house as Ms. Suzuki's sophisticated and clear voice echoed through the hall.

The six members appeared on stage again. Here, the moving song "Wishes Come True," which was played at the climax of the movie, was performed in full for the first time. Like the last scene, the six chorused together as if they could really see the kotodama. During the middle of the song, Tanaka-san, who played Kaede Ryunoguchi and Iino-san, who played Yu Hamasuga, who were at odds with each other in the movie, looked at each other and sang together, which was a very moving moment.

The final song was "Kibounokakera," NOW ON AIR's second single and the ending theme song for the movie. The live was closed with smiles on their faces.

Yuki Tanaka (played by Kaede Ryunokuchi)

I never dreamed that I would be able to sing and dance in front of the screen, but I think the reason I was able to do so was because everyone felt the brilliance of "Kimikoe" and made it into a kotodama to spread the word. I really enjoyed today."

Momone Iwabuchi (played by Shizuku Dobashi)

I could feel everyone's warmth even in the dark. It was the first time for me to sing in a movie theater, so I was very nervous, but I was able to enjoy myself with your fun atmosphere.

Mitsuho Kobe (Ayame Nakahara)

I enjoyed singing and hearing Nagisa and Otoha's solos live for the first time made me feel glad to be alive (laughs). It was a lot of fun! Please look forward to next week's show."

Mina Katahira (playing the role of Nagisa Gyogo)

I was very nervous about my solo song, but thank you for listening to me so kindly. The orange-colored lights were so beautiful. I was so happy to be able to make memories with you all.

Yotomi Suzuki (Actress: Biwakoji Otoha)

I had dreamed of performing a song from the play in front of everyone since the recording sessions, so I was very happy that it came true in this way. I was so happy that my solo song came true in this way! I was so happy that I could feel that you were listening to my solo songs. I look forward to seeing you again next week.

Misako Iino (played by Yu Hamasuga)

I hope many people will watch it and spread the word that "Kimikoe" is really good! It has been a month of happiness for me to have so many people watching the show and spreading the word about how great "Kimikoe" is. Performing a song from the play live as the culmination of all of that was something I really wanted to do, so I am happy to have been able to make it happen! Please come back next week!"
