Official Report】 (※敬称略略略)

On Friday, September 22, 2017, the curtain opened on "Girls' Revue Starlight -The LIVE-" #1. It began with the story of "Starlight," the stage of girls' dreams. From the fantastic play to the school life, the scene switches to ...... where the "stage girls" are challenging their dreams (the set of the grand staircase, which gives the image of an amphitheater, also suits the girls attending the music academy). (The set of the grand staircase, reminiscent of an amphitheater, is also well suited to girls attending a music academy.)

The main character, Aishiro Karen, played by Koyama Momoyo, is a stage girl who is naive, but has the strongest sparkle of all. Koyama's straightforward acting and sharp performance naturally attracted the audience's attention, and as Hanako, she was full of power to lead the entire stage. Suzuko Mimori played the other main character, Hikari Kagura, the mysterious cool beauty and Hanako's best friend. With her fluent body language, Suzuko Mimori gave a good performance as a complex character who is "on the surface cool and shadowy, but inside she is hot and passionate," adding a lingering sense of depth and depth to the story. Their harmonies were pleasant, and the contrast between the two was striking.

There are nine "stage girls" in total. For the audience, it was nice to get to know the personalities of each of them through the self-introduction song prepared at the beginning of the performance. Although they all share the same aspiration to become a star, their motives, motivations, worries, and pains vary widely. As the story progresses and we learn more about the girls' charms and true feelings, we come to love their individual voices and personalities even more. Their emotionally charged, full-throttle singing and dancing is also well worth seeing.

The highlight of the show is the "Review Battle" (......). It is an audition held suddenly in the school to see who shines the brightest among the nine students and who is worthy of being a top star, and the students fight each other for "sparkle" by acting according to the given title. Weapons such as swords, bows, and canes are the result of the passion and feelings of each of them. Rather than facing a common enemy, they must release their strength while confronting their own inner weakness in order to win against their rivals and friends, and to move one step closer to becoming the top stars. The stage girls overcome such severe battles with their graceful, sometimes violent, sometimes dainty, and sometimes charming sword fights. The brave actions of the girls in their cute costumes are also a must-see. The "response" that Hanako brings to the end of the battle after a serious clash is also very refreshing.

As announced in advance, the first part of the musical was followed by a live show by the stage girls in the second part! The second part was a live show by the stage girls! They performed "Star Divine," which was also performed in the play, and other six songs for about 30 minutes without MC, and the audience was fully entertained by a show-up performance different from the formation in the play. You can use psylliums and other cheering items as well as shouts of encouragement to get excited while finding your own highlights, such as a number you liked in the first part, a lyric you fell in love with, a "guess girl" you fell in love with, or checking out the choreography, which only a live show can offer. You can get excited while finding your own highlights.

There will be a total of 5 performances over 3 days. All of them are infused with the real spirit of the stage girls. The live performance, including their initial rough edges, and the sense of live performance as they are developing toward their dreams is an attraction that cannot be replaced by anything else. This is the first step in the world of Starlight, a world that makes you want to love and nurture it both on stage and in the audience. Let's look forward to the next performance and the future development of the world of Starlight.
