2018 Winter Anime "Overlord II" Teaser Visual Revealed!　Satoshi Tasaki joins as a new character designer

A teaser visual for "Overlord II," which will begin airing in January 2018, has been released.

Overlord," which has been on air since July 2015, is a TV anime based on a popular fantasy novel by Maruyama Kugane (illustrated by so-bin, KADOKAWA), whose series has sold over 4.1 million copies. The story is set in "Yggdrasil," an interactive online game that was to have ended its service, and depicts a lonely, dull young man who loves games in the real world as a powerful wizard in the form of a skeleton, leading his own guild and playing an active role. The second season of the TV anime is scheduled to be broadcast from January 2018.

The teaser visual released this time shows a close-up of the face of the main character, Ain's Wool Gown, a magic chanter in the form of a skeleton, which is disastrous.

Staff information has also been released. Continuing from the first season, Naoyasu Ito will direct, Yukie Sugawara will compose the series, Takahiro Yoshimatsu will design the characters, and Madhouse will be in charge of animation production. In addition, Satoshi Tasaki, who has worked as an animation director on various works including "A of Diamonds" and "HUNTER x HUNTER the Movie," will join as a new character designer.

Expect to see a new "Overlord" in January 2018.
