Report on the event for the advance screening of the fall anime "Konohana Kitan"!　Talk show by main casts and live performance by eufonius!

On Sunday, September 24, 2017, an advance screening of the fall anime "Konohana Kitan" was held, featuring an advance screening of the first episode of the anime, a talk show by the main cast, and a live performance by the music unit eufonius.

Konohana Kitan" is a mysterious and moving story about six foxy matchmakers working at Konohana Tei, a hot spring hotel between this world and the next, serialized by Sakuya Amano in "Monthly Birds" (Gentosha Comics). Directed by Hideki Okamoto of "D.C.II S.S.: Da Capo II Second Season", series composition by Takao Yoshioka of "Ajin-chan ga Natteiritai", character design by Keiko Kurosawa of "Kuzu no Honkai", theme song by eufonius, and animation production by Lerche of "Danganronpa" and The theme song is by eufonius and the animation production is by Lerche of "Danganronpa" and "Assassination Classroom.

At this event, the first episode of the anime was screened, and the main cast members Yuzuko Ono, Sawako Hata, Ayaka Suwa, Risa Kubota, Ai Kuma, and Aimi Numakura took the stage to talk about the characters and highlights of the work. Next, eufonius performed the opening theme song "Kokoroni Tsubomi" live for the first time. The event concluded with the original author, Sakuya Amano, appearing in kimono and talking about how the anime adaptation came about.

The event was full of surprises, including a special screening of the second episode as a surprise for the gathered audience, and was filled with excitement until the very end.

About Yuzu
Yuzu is a straightforward and honest girl. What she thinks comes out in her actions and words. Every time she speaks, she says something that makes you think. She doesn't try to change anything, she just says what she thinks and what she means.

The four seasons are slowly depicted throughout the course of the season. The relationships and growth of each season are slowly moving along, but I am sure that you will be reminded of things that you have forgotten and be inspired by what you see.

About Satsui
In the first episode, I think we were able to understand each other a little bit.　（The way I call her "Yuzu" has changed from "Chibi Duke" to "Yuzu". She was often angry and frustrated, but I think you could see her expression change when she interacted with Yuzu, even if it was only for a short period of time.

About the song "Kokoroni Tsubomi
The story is wonderful, but the pictures are also beautiful, so I wrote this song hoping that the color pictures would pop into your mind when you hear the song. I wrote the lyrics with Yuzu in mind, so it was like she helped me write the lyrics. I thought the word "tsubomi" was like Yuzu-chan, who will bloom in the future. I hope it will be an encouragement to those of you who are working hard in your daily lives.

(Music for the play) I made 50 songs in about 3 weeks. I think that's a lot. I liked the original story and got into it, so it was easy for me to write the music. I wrote the music in the hope that I could depict the delicate relationships between all the women in the play, and that I could make the scene where the flowers are dancing beautifully.

I received an offer from the producer, and I was most pleased with the content of the offer. The producer's father had seen my work when he was physically ill, and he said that it had really touched him. So he told me that he wanted to bring it to many people through animation. ...... That was enough for me, and I didn't care if it was a flop (laughs). (Laughs.) It took a lot of hard work and many years to decide. (The finished work) was really great, and I have no complaints!　It was so good that I wondered if it was too good to be true. ...... Everyone's performances were wonderful, and I am very grateful for that.
