Kenichi Suzumura and Hiroshi Kamiya appear in the 2018 Toei Star Calendar! First time voice actors have appeared on the calendar since its launch in 1957!

Kenichi Suzumura and Hiroshi Kamiya will appear in the 2018 Toei Star Calendar, which will go on sale on Sunday, October 1, 2017.

The Toei Star Calendar has been produced by Toei since 1957, and has featured period drama stars from Toei such as Chiezo Kataoka, Utaemon Ichikawa, Ryunosuke Tsukigata, and Ryutaro Otomo, and has been followed by newcomers such as Hitomi Nakahara, Ken Takakura, Yoshiko Sakuma, Tatsuo Umemiya, and Shinichi Chiba. New faces, Koji Tsuruta and Junko Fuji from the "chivalrous" films, Etsuko Shihomi from the fighting films, Hibari Misora from 91 Toei films, Seiko Matsuda from "The Grave of Nogiku," and many other stars who have graced Toei films and TV dramas have appeared.


This is the first time that voice actors have appeared in a Toei calendar since it was first released in 1957.

In addition to the two actors, the calendar also features a lineup of other splendid actors, including Ryuhei Matsuda, Jun Shizon, Atsuko Maeda, Reiko Takashima, Toshin Samurai Kobayashi, Kinya Kitaoji, Manami Hashimoto, Yuka Kurotani, Hitomi Kuroki, and Hiroshi Tachi.
