───Motivation to participate in this film

The project was underway at the same time as "Gatchaman Crows Insight," and Director Kenji Nakamura tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Why don't you give it a try? Kenji Nakamura tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if I would like to try my hand. When I first heard about the full 3DCG, I vaguely felt that I would have to take a different approach from the usual TV animation in order for viewers to look forward to it.

───The meaning of the title "Infini-T Force

Infinity" means infinity, and "Force" has many meanings, such as power and group. That is also the theme of this work, and the mysterious pencil symbolizes that "force. It is also the "T" of Tatsunoko, so I think it is a good title.

─ ─ A challenge in this work.

I thought about the significance of taking on the challenge of full 3DCG on the 55th anniversary of Tatsunoko Productions. There was an option to use CG that was similar to the drawings of today's animation - a cel-look - but I think the spirit of Tatsunoko was to challenge something a little more advanced. (People who are not used to seeing full 3DCG may feel a sense of rejection, but I think it is important for them to be able to see the story and the drama of the characters without feeling any sense of rejection.

How do you portray the four heroes in this film?

With several years having passed since the old film, how have they changed as they have grown up and become adults? What can we pass on to the younger generation? I thought it would be interesting to depict the heroes in this context. In terms of Gatchaman, he is 18 years old in the old film and 24 years old in this film, so he is a 24-year-old man in the postwar Showa era who continues to fight with the characters, is more of a leader, can be relied on, and protects someone. So, from a modern perspective, he has an old man's feel (laughs).

─ ─ Favorite scene or memorable line from the first episode.

It's when Ken jumps out of the exploding plane and transforms into smoke. When I was making it, I wondered how it would turn out, but I thought the finished product was cool because it turned out unexpectedly well. I always thought that Laugh's line, "There are no heroes..." was a key line in the story, and that's why I made it.

──Ahead of the broadcast.

What I was most conscious of in this work was to portray Tatsunoko's heroes in 3DCG, and I created the images and story with the TV series in mind. What will happen next week? I hope this drama will make you look forward to it.

─ ─ How did you get involved in this film and what was your first impression of it?

Gatchaman Crows Insight" was being produced at the same time, and I was summoned by Director Kenji Nakamura, who showed me the proposal in the conference room and said, "Why don't we do a film that brings together the four major legends of the genre?" He asked me, "Why don't you do a film that brings together the four legends? The keywords "crossover" and "one girl in Shibuya and legends of different generations coming down" were there at the beginning. I knew I had to be prepared to do it.

─ What is the difference between "Gatchaman Crows Insight" and this film?

Gatchaman Crows Insight" is a socially-conscious film, so the hero image is completely different. When I was working on "Gatchaman Crows Insight," I read a lot of sociology books (laughs). For "Infini-T Force," it was simpler: "What exactly is a hero? I thought about it. I thought of heroes as "friends who can live together." The heroine, Laughs, has no parents, but I thought, "I wonder if a society will come in the future where people will have to live without their parents. I remember saying to them, "I think there is a possibility that we can overcome that society together, transcending generations.

─ ─ The image of the hero in this work. The relationship with laughter.

He is an old man. Laugh is a child. The heroes are four dependable adults, and the enemies are four bad adults. Gatchaman is annoying and annoying. But I think it's okay to have hot guys like that, and the polymers are like, "Oh well. Let's have fun! I have an old man in my family who is like that (laughs). I don't know what he does for a living. Tekkaman is a logical and calm person, and Casshern knows people's pain, so I feel comfortable with him. (They are friends, but I think they are all different characters.

─ What about the heroine, Laughter?

She is a girl who has lost hope and lives alone in solitude. I think it was inevitable that the four of them would come together. The question is not whether she should live or die, nor does she want to die. At such a time, a hero falls from above. It was decided from the beginning that the heroine would be a high school girl heroine, and I wrote the story remembering the melancholy, anxiety, and sadness of my own high school days.

─ ─ My favorite scene.

I like the way Damien Gray talks while bowling, because it gives a weird feeling. It was like a visual-kei band, and it smelled phony! I was surprised when I first saw it.

─ - In anticipation of the broadcast...

What kind of reaction are you expecting? Will the viewers receive the full 3DCG as if it were a live-action film? Is it animation? I am very interested.
