Sword Art Online Arisation" & "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" will be adapted into TV anime!
At the "Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2017" held on Sunday, October 1, 2017, the TV anime adaptations of "Sword Art Online Arisimation" and "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" from the popular "Sword Art Online" anime series were announced.
The first season of "Sword Art Online" ran from July to December 2012, and the second season will run from July to December 2014. On February 18, 2017, "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale," an anime movie based on a story written by Kawahara, was released. It was a huge hit in Japan, grossing 2.5 billion yen at the box office and drawing more than 1.77 million viewers.

The TV anime "SWORD ART ONLINE ARISATION" is a TV anime adaptation of the original novel series by Reki Kawahara, which has sold over 20 million copies in total. This announcement unveils the visual by abec, the original illustrator, as well as cast information.
The TV anime "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" is another "Sword Art Online" created by Keiichi Shigurezawa, known for "Kino's Journey," and illustrator Kohaku Kuroboshi. Visuals by Kohaku Kuroboshi and information on the cast were also revealed at the event.
